Color Inspiration

Nature is a great source of inspiration. Right now I can take a quick little stroll and see so many colors, shapes, and textures. Today was no exception. Our gardens and field are filled with so much color right now, it's hard not to find something to spark a new idea. I thought I'd share some color inspiration with you.

Where do you find inspiration?

  1. I find inspiration all over the place - but I agree - I love the bright colors of flowers and other things that you can find outdoors!

  2. I, too, find a lot of inspiration in nature - flowers, leaves, even grasses, especially when it's Fall in the Flinthills, lend lots of color ideas. But probably the stones themselves that I work with give me the most inspiration. Your zinnias are lovely, btw.

  5. Wow, gorgeous photos, thanks. I've got a lot to learn still. Sometimes sunsets for instance gives such an unexpected ray of colours, and like the middle photo, I would never thought I could put those colours together. I think I must start a book with inspirational photos. Thanks for this info, just love it. Greetings Lorraine

  8. Nature is a great inspiration. I'm not into geometric designs so I love the flowing lines and colors nature gives us.

  9. Those are wonderful photos and yes, very inspirational, although I think it is often sunsets that really grab me. Especially wiht all the dust and sulfar from that volcano in Russia.
